Calling all creative adults, come get crafty with us at the library! Crafts vary monthly and supplies are provided.

This month's craft: Block Printing

Join us for a special summer craft led by librarian Meghan and guest crafter, Deepika Prakash! For this session we will be block printing, a process of printing using engraved wooden blocks. We will be using fabric paint and the library will provide flour sack dish towels for printing. Participants can also bring their own materials to block print on! Be sure to pre-wash your fabric and natural fabrics take color better so look for items which are made from cotton, linen, or cotton blends.

Deepika Prakash is the founder of PatternReview.com and runs the Repair & Renew Sewing Workshop,  a partnership between Sargent Memorial Library in Boxborough and Acton Memorial Library in Acton which meets at alternating libraries every month.
