The First Wednesday Book Club meets on the first Wednesday evening of each month (with occasional calendar changes to accommodate holidays) at 6:30 PM. Now in our fourth year, the club reads both fiction and non-fiction books across a variety of genres with selections chosen via voting by members. Meetings are semi-structured discussions of the book and there is typically a themed snack provided by club leader, Jen.

Membership in the club is currently full with future openings hard to predict. Patrons can express interest in joining by filling out the Book Club Interest Form, though this does not guarantee membership.

Anyone can follow along with us by checking out our Book Club @ Large display, located in the library on an aisle end cap in our Adult Fiction area. The display includes a book list of past and present selections, copies of books from our list for you to check out, reviews of the book we just discussed, and recipes you can take home for the themed snacks!
