Learn everything you need to know to begin needle felting with artist Jennifer McCarthy, owner of The Felted Bee. Grab a friend and learn the art of needle felting in a supportive and relaxing environment. In this beginner friendly workshop, you will learn skills and techniques specific to needle felting and make a ghost wearing a witch hat!

Needle felting is a technique of using a very sharp, barbed needle to repeatedly stab into the wool to create felt. The wool becomes tangled and snarled and compressed by the needle to create various three dimensional forms. The needles that are used are special, very sharp, barbed needles. The wool gets hooked on these barbs and compresses into itself.

No experience is necessary. All materials are included, and you get to take your felting needle and foam pad home too.

About the artist: Jennifer McCarthy owns and operates The Felted Bee, a needle felting company nestled within the South Shore region of Massachusetts. Jennifer has spent years honing her various needle felting creations and techniques. She brings her background in painting & sculpture and over 16 years of art education to classes of all ages.
